The D.C. Section of SME holds its monthly meetings beginning in September through May. Meetings are normally held the second Tuesday of each month unless circumstances dictate otherwise. The Section also participates in educational events, special field trips, and other social events.TUnless otherwise noted, all meetings begin 11:30 a.m. with reception and registration, followed by lunch at noon and oral presentation beginning at 12:30 p.m.
